Anyone interested in being involved in UBCEFRT is welcome to try
out for the team. There is no previous experience or First Aid /CPR training required! You only need to be passionate about being an involved student leader on campus and giving back to the campus community.
We intake new First Responders in September. Interested individuals will be provided with relevant First Aid and CPR courses once they join the team, receiving First Responder 3 training and CPR HCP through the Canadian Red Cross. Training is heavily subsidized by the team, only requiring minimal costs to team members (like stethoscopes or training materials).
