Anyone interested in being involved in UBCEFRT is welcome to try out for the team! We are looking for passionate individuals interested in giving back to the campus community with a (minimum) certification of Standard First Aid and CPR-C.
We intake new First Responders in September. Interested individuals will be provided with relevant First Aid and CPR courses once they join the team, receiving First Responder 3 training and CPR HCP through the Canadian Red Cross. Training is heavily subsidized by the team, only requiring minimal costs to team members (like stethoscopes or training materials).
